While they don’t spend a lot of time writing code for this role, they need a considerable amount of technical experience to succeed in it.
Also known as CTOs or IT directors, IT managers guide an organization’s technological direction by managing network security, coordinating online operations, and developing business plans. Their primary responsibility is to generate value by leveraging technology. To do this effectively, they must stay up to date on the latest technology, separating the hype from the real deal.
